The term for an artist, to me, is to realise and to express in many different mediums. My practice is to understand and to explore the concept of perception and transformation.
From writing, sketching, painting, and sculpture to photography and film, I am exploring the concepts of what people see and what they interpret for their own self-assurance. Using the ideology of Abstract art, creating art for art’s sake, Automatism within Surrealism, biology, and the psychological interpretation in Sigmund Freud’s theory; I research the concept of our personalities, our thought processes and bring forth symmetrical art that to every person, shows a different story, shows a different interpretation, shows a new thought process.
ABOUT ME
I am a 21-year-old BA Fine art student in Plymouth College of Art.
In the style of Automatism, Abstract Expressionism, Surrealism and Abstract art, I love using the human body, landscapes and the use if light and dark in both painting and film to express certain emotions or current social situations, whether that is personal or around the world. My research is wide spread; merging art with biology, psychology and ideology from artist and theorist alike.
